Today one of the dads came in to tell us what it is like to be a chef. It was his birthday so we sang to him. We explored ingredients like dried mushrooms and herbs using our senses. He then showed us how chefs use knives. He could chop really fast with such a big knife. Kingfishers tried to whip some cream to make it thick and fluffy. Rob showed us how to pipe cream and mousse. We then created a beautiful plate of fruit. It was exciting and fantastic. Thank you for showing us and sharing the lovely fruit!
