International Week Kites

We are coming to the end of International Week and we have been very busy.

On Monday we visited Greece and we made hexagonal kites.

On Tuesday we visited the Caribean and we made one massive kite.

Both these places fly kites around Easter time. On Tuesday we also made kite patterns that you can find on Caribean kites using origami paper.

On Wednesday we went to New Zealand and we made Maori kites, masks and necklaces.

On Thursday we went to Japan. We made miniature kites and kites out of newspapers. They were the best kites for flying that we made all week. We also learned about the Japanese culture.

Tomorrow we are back in Britain. We will have the International Fair after school. We hope it will be a good as the last two years!
