DIRT time

Kingfisher Children may come home and talk about DIRT time. We do this on a Friday afternoon. It stands for Dedicated Improvement Reflection Time. We look at our writing and check our targets. We may practise the some spellings we often get wrong. Sometimes we write down what we feel we have learned during the week. That is what we did this Friday. Some of us remember learning about division which is the inverse of multiplication. Others remembered the one point balances from the Gymnastic lesson. Some children also remembered learning about nouns, verbs and adjectives. We wrote some amazing Brighton poems with them which will be on the blog soon. You can see our notes on learning on the ‘What stuck with me’ board outside the classroom.
