1960’s day

Today we celebrated the last day of our “I have a dream…..” topic with a disco. We all came dressed up in amazing outfits and we wore our own tie dye scarves.

In the morning we shared our 1960’s knowledge. Some children taught us about famous musicians such as Bob Dylan and the Beatles, famous people like Neil Armstrong and children’s TV programmes. D made his own tie dye T-shirts. Another boy brought in a real record player. We also admired some of the decorations that children made.

We also listened to some of the music that we all brought in and we saw a Jimmy Hendrix video. We practised some of our moves.
