We have been learning about mindfulness. Mindfulness helps us to be calm. We heard the story about Peaceful Pig.
In assembly we made a mindfulness bottle. We put all our thoughts in there with glitter and sequins. If you shake the bottle they float around like they are in our head. Our thoughts can make us feel very busy. In mindfulness we try to let our thoughts settle, just like the glitter in the bottle.
Today we looked at bubbles in our session.
We all wanted to pop the bubbles. Rachel told us to be mindful and watch the bubbles. We tried to ignore our thought of wanting to pop them. The bubbles were pretty with lots of colours. Thomas said: “Even if you have little bubbles, they can settle big thoughts”.
