1960’s day

Kingfisher children chose to have a 1960’s day as a reward for being an amazing class this year. We dressed up, listen to Jimmy Hendrix, the Beatles and the Monkeys, we saw part of the Beatles film, coloured in some 60’s pictures. We learned about things that happened in that era like CND, Martin Luther King, the first moon landing and the toys children played with. We also looked at the fashion of those days such as the Afro (thank you Alex, you looked amazing!) and the round sunglasses. In the afternoon we had a roller disco.
