Today we talked about symmetry and lines of symmetry. we had lots of activities to do about symmetry. One sheet was a MUST DO activity.
Some of us made symmetrical patterns on the computer using Purple Mash.
Some children worked together to make a symmetrical picture.
Other children used little shapes.
Grace spotted that the T and the 8 on her jumper were symmetrical. Dexter and Mason also did the extra challenge.
YOUR HOME LEARNING THIS WEEK:
Look around your house for symmetrical objects and patterns. Draw them or make a list of them. You can also play on Purple Mash. Log in to the old VLE. Look in the right hand side bar for the learning links. If you click on it, you will firnd a link to Purple Mash.
